Snake Chinese zodiac: years, dates and meaning
Check every Snake year in our 1901–2030 calendar, verify the New Year boundary and explore an optional symbolic reflection.
A symbolic theme to explore · Observation before interpretation
Consider the difference between noticing and assuming. Write one observation without attaching a motive, then list what you would need to know before reaching a conclusion. Taking time can improve a question, provided it does not turn into endlessly searching for hidden meanings in ordinary events.
A question for daily life
What have I observed, and what am I adding to it?

A boundary example
For the 2025 animal year, 2025-01-28 is still Dragon; 2025-01-29 is already Snake. Two consecutive birth dates can therefore produce different animals. Conversely, different Gregorian birth years can fall within the same animal-year interval.
About this interpretation
The dates come from the calendar; the reflection themes are Myzodika's original editorial choices. They are not a test of personality or a description of everyone born in that year. Use a question only if it fits your experience. Animal names do not rank people or establish their behaviour.
Lunar New Year or Li Chun?
Some BaZi methods use Li Chun instead of Lunar New Year. Check the convention before comparing results. This tool is a date-based animal-year lookup, not a Four Pillars chart, a birth-time calculation or a conversion of a birth instant between time zones.
