Life path number calculator

Calculate a life path number from a Gregorian birth date and inspect the digit reduction. This is a symbolic numerology convention, not a scientific assessment of your personality or future.

How the calculation works

We add all the digits in the year, month and day. If the total has more than one digit, we add its digits again, stopping at 1–9 or at the master numbers 11, 22 and 33. For 1990-01-01 the total is 21, then 2 + 1 = 3. Other traditions use different reduction rules and may return another master number.

What this result does not mean

A number does not determine your abilities, compatibility, income or health. The interpretation is optional and symbolic. Different conventions are not evidence of different hidden facts about you.

Can two calculators give different results?

Yes. Some calculators reduce the month, day and year separately; others sum all digits first. Compare their stated conventions and master-number rules.
