Our editorial and calculation methods

Understand the difference between calculated sky positions and symbolic interpretations.

Myzodika is an international project by MadkWeb based on the Zodika tools. The reference articles explain their conventions and limitations. The English edition is the main edition; translated calculators identify their language in the page and keep the same arithmetic.

The Moon, rising sign and combined Sun/Moon/rising calculators use local birth time, IANA time zones and approximate city-centre or custom coordinates. Repeated times require disambiguation and skipped times are rejected. Rising calculations support latitudes between 65 degrees south and 65 degrees north. The Sun sign tool uses Astronomy Engine 2.1.19 for geocentric tropical solar longitude. Without a birth time or time zone it reports a conservative set of possible signs. The numerology tool adds all Gregorian date digits and preserves 11, 22 and 33. Tarot draws use browser cryptographic randomness without replacement. None of these symbolic interpretations guarantees a future event.

Birth dates entered in the new calculators stay in browser memory and are not added to URLs, analytics or persistent storage. Ads, newsletter collection and analytics are not active in this review version.

Text drafts were prepared with AI assistance for MadkWeb and require publisher review before public launch. Changes to a method should be documented before the content is republished. Repeated wording and translations must be reviewed for clarity rather than generated solely to increase page counts.
